Rather ordinary, everyday Chianti. Light-bodied and
simply flavoured, it has a slightly wooded, tart cherry character resulting
partly from high acid. Not the sort of wine anyone would ever bother to
deliberately age, but on the other hand I think it would benefit from a year or
so to mellow.
